The Attraction of an Internet Business

As I run most of my Salsa Clubs & Classes during the evenings I tend to have the daytime to work on promoting and updating the website along with writing the club newsletters. When I had a normal day job, I was be left with very little time to do these vital jobs except in the early hours when I got back from teaching salsa. This meant I didn't get nearly enough sleep and the jobs didn't get done anywhere near as often or as well as they needed to be.

I am currently unemployed, so I have all the time I need...
BUT NO MONEY!

The best answer to this problem would be a flexible job or business that I can run from home when I have the time, and provide me with a reasonable income. Not too much to ask is it?
The ideal solution would seem to be an Internet Business of some kind.

This brings me to where I am now, trying to find legitimate ways to earn an income from the internet. The best ones would appear to be various forms of Internet Marketing. On the surface this would appear to be quite straight forward. You have Ebay, Amazon, etc. for selling products, Clickbank, Commision Junction, etc. offering Affiliate Marketing Opportunities where you don't need your own product, Google Adsense offering income from your own website...
The list goes on!

However, once you try to do any of these you realise it is not that straight forward after all. There is a lot of competition from Experienced Internet Entrepreneurs who know what they are doing, and I always seem to find some kind of obstacle I can't seem to get over, the most difficult being traffic and working with virtualy no advertising budget.

One thing I do know though is that everyone has to start somewhere, and I have to just go for it and be prepared for making as many mistakes along the way as it takes. As long as I don't give up I will get there.This week I took a couple small steps, and created 2 websites whichshould earn me some money if I can get traffic to them... Any help/advice would be appreciated!

As I have no real advertising budget so I have been looking around for decent Free Traffic services & sources... Once again, any suggestions would be appreciated.
